The Modern Barbarians
Israel blitzed the Gaza Strip on Saturday, December 27, with a wave of air strikes, killing at least 155 people in the besieged strip. Thick clouds of smoke billowed into the sky and mangled, bloody, charred corpses littered the streets. At the main police headquarters, some rescue workers beat their heads and shouted "God is greatest" as one badly wounded man lying nearby quietly recited verses from the Qur'an.
"Today we are stronger then we've ever been," said Hamas spokesman Taher Nounou. "We won't raise the white flag, we won't give anything up, we won't retreat. We call on the Arab states in the region to take a stance against this massacre and not to be satisfied with just condemnations."
Israeli Defence minister Ehud Barak said: ‘It won’t be easy and it won’t be short. There is a time for calm and a time for fighting and now the time has come to fight.’
The barbaric Zionists again are starting another holocaust.
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
اللهم اخلفنا في مصيبتنا واخلف لنا خيراً منها
May Allah destroy His enemies, rip them apart and crush them to death.
May Allah burn them in the blazing fire prepared in the hereafter.
May Allah grant our brothers and sisters patience and strength.
May the mujahidin attain victory and the martyrs attain jannah.
May the muslim rulers start actions rather than just watch, organize talks and meetings.
May all of us never forget to pray for our Palestinians brothers and sisters, and do whatever we can to help them.
Quoting IslamOnline on the role of individuals and governments towards Palestinians:
Dr. Sano Koutoub Moustapha:
I believe that all Muslims must do their best to assist oppressed Palestinian people in all possible ways. They must remember them in their supplications. It is a duty upon every Muslim to do so.
As for the specific role of Muslim individuals and governments, I believe that there must be coordination and cooperation between the people and their governments. Certainly, no Muslim individual or decent government would like to see more pain and hardship for the Palestinian people. Therefore, there must be cooperation and strategic move from peoples as well as governments in order to assist the Palestinians in these difficult times.
In other words, individuals must donate as much as they can to the Palestinians, and the governments -- including the Palestinian government -- must find political solutions to this crisis. The interest of the Palestinian people must be above all other interests and considerations.
Muslim leaders should do their best to uproot the causes and sources of this unjust and unfair punishment of Palestinians. Political ideologies and agendas should be put aside for the sake of hungry, thirsty, and oppressed Palestinians.
All individuals and governments must do whatever they can to help the helpless Palestinians by assisting and donating to the legal authorities, either in cash or in kind or even in spirit. It is a sinful act to see fellow Muslims living in hunger and hardship without lending them a helping hand.
May Allah be with the Palestinian people and reward those peoplewho will put an end to this critical and human crisis.
