Bersabar dengan manusia

The lesson i have to learn today is: Be patient.

#1 - everyday i keep getting complains from Aunty N's husband:
the nurses aren't doing their jobs.
the nurses would not listen to his inquiries.
each time he asks for something the only answer that he gets is 'Tunggu'
they put her on drip on daytime when she's supposed to be on drip at night.
nobody changed her bed sore dressing when it's already wet.
everything is slow.
things have to be changed.
bla bla bla.

and the nurses would say that:
the husband demands too much.
they are busy attending many patients.
they will do it not to worry.
bla bla bla.

*both sides hate each other and im the one trapped in the middle to listen to everybody's nag. Politics at work. Pergh.

#2 - somehow 1 nurse did not stop talking for almost 1 hour telling me her marriage problem. how her husband is so quiet and she's bored. how she is in contact with her ex-admirer and both of them wish to be with 1 another but both are married. i wonder why she told me all these. hope i didnt give the wrong advice.

*marriage is scary

#3 - i pushed the lift button.
waited for a moment.
and i pushed it again.
"sabar,dik.sabar"
i think my face was all red, felt like i was struck by lightning.
i turned around n saw a man with his son.
i just kept quiet. yes.i wasnt patient.

*deep inside my heart was saying 'thank you for embarrassing me'.for my own good.

#4 - my atheist colleague continued telling me his mixed darwinism+rubbish belief.it wasnt pure evolution theory, but mixed with some sort of alien, UFO, and other rubbish. it's too ridiculous i felt like laughing hard and tell him straight "this is the 1st time i hear that kind of dustbin theory". luckily i was able to control myself.didnt say much. speechless in fact.it's too disturbing to have someone like him to have that kind of thinking.

*sometimes people can have disturbingly weird thoughts when it comes to faith (TRO schizophrenia?huhu)

#5 - i opened this blog and i saw:
wahai poi.ivy...
pengikut wahabi rupa2nya

*yeah yeah whatever. there comes another wahabiphobic chap.

p/s: sometimes dealing too much with human makes u feel like vomiting. Give me IV Maxolon 10 mg stat.

The Faqeeh Thief!

Imam ibn alJawzi narrated with his Isnaad to Ahmad bin alMu’addil alBasri who said:

I was sitting in a gathering when a person came and said:

I was heading to the woods where I own a garden. When I got far from the community houses I was approached by a thief.

He said: Give me your clothes.

I said (trying to be defiant): Why should I give you my clothes?

He said: I am more deserving of your clothes than you.

I said: Why?

He said: Because I am your brother. You are clothed and I am not.

I said: Allow me to give you some money.

He said: No. I want to wear your clothes, just as you have worn them.

I said: So you want to make me naked and expose my Awrah?!

He said: There is nothing wrong with this (being naked if alone). Imam Malik narrated that it was OK for a man to perform Ghusul naked.

I said: But people will see me naked.

He said: Had there been people on this road I would not have approached you on it.

I said: You seem to be intelligent. Let me go to my garden and I will take off my clothes and give them to you.

He said: No. You want to have your servants grab me and take me to the Sultan who will imprison me, rip my skin, and put chains around my anckles.

I said: No, I swear to you that I will fulfill my promise, and will do you no harm.

He said: No. Imam Malik narrated that oaths given to thieves do not have to be fulfilled.

I said: I swear that I will not use my swearing to con you.

He said: Same thing, this is a compounded oath given to a thief.

I said: Let us stop debating, allow me to go to my gareden and I promise to give you these clothes out of my good will with no hard feelings.

So the thief thought for a moment and said: Do you know what I am thinking?

I said: No.

He said: I went over the cases of thieves since the time of the Prophet ASWS until today. I do not recall a thief who stole something this way (by leaving a time gap between his attack and receiving stolen goods). I hate to innovate something into Islam which was not from it. I will bare the sin of it and every one who goes by it to the day of judgment … Give me your clothes now.

kebenaran

“Mereka yang apabila diberitahu oleh orang ramai (pembawa berita) kepada mereka: “Bahawa manusia berkumpul untuk memerangi kamu, maka gerunlah kamu kepada mereka”. (maka berita itu sebenarnya) menambahkan iman mereka lalu berkata: “Cukuplah Allah untuk (menolong) kami, dan Dia sebaik-baik pengurus (yang terserah kepadanya Segala urusan kami)” -Ali 'imran:173-

A tribute to my beloved

Jiwang sket. Heh. Although some feelings we tend to keep to ourselves, but sometimes things need to be blurted out. And I believe this is one of them.

I dedicate this post to my dearest friends. We won’t be together again this long, and everybody will be going to separate paths, chasing our dreams and living our lives.

Abu Idris Khaulani, one of the most famous tabi'in said that, once, he visited Muaz bin Jabal in the mosque of Damascus and told him: "By Allah I love you for the sake of Allah." He (Muaz) repeatedly asked me to swear if it was so and when I answered in affirmative every time, he pulled me by my shawl and said, "Hear the good news! I have heard the Messenger of Allah saying that "Allah the Exalted says :My love shall certainly be for those who love each other for my sake, who sit in each other's company for my sake, who go to meet each other for my sake and spend money on each other for my sake." (Muwatta’ Imam Malik)

Truly, I love you all for the sake of Allah.

Thank you for reminding me of Allah.
Thank you for making me a better person.
Thank you for bringing colours into my life.
Thank you for being patient with me.
Thank you for being understanding and supportive.
Thank you for bearing with my temper and tantrums.
Thank you for forgiving my mistakes.
Thank you for lifting me up when I wa
s down.
Thank you for being there when I needed u most.
Thank you for accepting me the way I am.
Thank you for cracking the jokes.
Thank you for sharing the tears.
Thank you for relieving my pain n ache.
Thank you for keeping the secrets and prom
ises.
Thank you for giving me joy n happiness.
Thank you for being exciting and crazy.
Thank you for everything.

Sorry for the horrible things I did.
Sorry for the bad words I uttered.
Sorry for the promises I broke.
Sorry for the nagging I ignored.
Sorry for the bad habits I unable to chang
e.
Sorry for making u angry.
Sorry for everything.

Whatever it is,
The ups and downs,
The smiles and frowns,
When we agree or disagree,
We always end up together again.

Mana la lagi aku nak cari sahabat cam korang..

Semoga dipermudahkanNya

“To educate a girl is to educate a whole family. And what is true of families is also true of communities and, ultimately, whole countries. Study after study has taught us that there is no tool for development more effective than the education of girls. No other policy is as likely to raise economic productivity, lower infant and maternal mortality, improve nutrition and promote health- including helping to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. No other policy is as powerful in increasing the chances of education for the next generation.”

Islamic Jokes

Here is the story of an Imam who got up after Friday prayers and announced to the people:

"I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in your pockets."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once, the people of the city invited Mulla Nasruddin to deliver a speech. When he got on the minbar (pulpit), he found the audience was not very enthusiastic, so he asked "Do you know what I am going to say?" The audience replied "NO", so he announced "I have no desire to speak to people who don't even know what I will be talking about" and he left. The people felt embarrassed and called him back again the next day. This time when he asked the same question, the people replied "YES" So Mullah Nasruddin said, "Well, since you already know what I am going to say, I won't waste any more of your time" and he left. Now the people were really perplexed. They decided to try one more time and once again invited the Mullah to speak the following week. Once again he asked the same question - "Do you know what I am going to say?" Now the people were prepared and so half of them answered "YES" while the other half replied "NO". So Mullah Nasruddin said "The half who know what I am going to say, tell it to the other half" and he left!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An old woman came to the Prophet (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah (subhanahu wa ta`ala) that I will enter Paradise." He said jokingly, "O Mother of So-and-so, no old women will enter Paradise." The old woman went away crying, so the Prophet (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, "Tell her that she will not enter Paradise as an old woman, for Allah (subhanahu wa ta`ala) says: (We have created [their Companions] of special creation, and made them virgin-pure [and undefiled]) (Qur'an 56:35-36)." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, it is hasan because of the existence of corroborating reports.

Rules of Joking in Islam

Some people joke too much and it becomes a habit for them. This is the opposite of the serious nature which is the characteristic of the believers. Joking is a break, a rest from ongoing seriousness and striving; it is a little relaxation for the soul.

‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “Fear joking, for it is folly and generates grudges.”

Imaam al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “The kind of joking which is forbidden is that which is excessive and persistent, for it leads to too much laughter and hardening of the heart, it distracts from remembrance of Allaah, and it often leads to hurt feelings, generates hatred and causes people to lose respect and dignity. But whoever is safe from such dangers, then that which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to do is permissible for him.”

Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqaas said: “Set a limit to your jokes, for going to extremes makes you lose respect and incites the foolish against you.”

The amount of joking should be like the amount of salt in one’s food.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not laugh too much, for laughing too much deadens the heart.” (Saheeh al-Jaami’, 7312)

‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “Whoever laughs too much or jokes too much loses respect, and whoever persists in doing something will be known for it.”

So beware of joking, for it “causes a person to lose face after he was thought of as respectable, and it brings him humiliation after esteem.”

A man said to Sufyaan ibn ‘Uyaynah (may Allaah be pleased with him), “Joking is not right, it is to be denounced.” He replied, “Rather it is Sunnah, but only for those who know how to do it and do it at the appropriate time.”

Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) was asked, “Did the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) laugh?” He said, “Yes, and the faith in their hearts was like mountains.”
